Adele has no room for hateful comments during her concert, especially not during Pride Month. On June 1, the first official day of the month-long celebration, the pop star said more than a few profane words during her Las Vegas residency show after one of her concert attendees yelled “Pride sucks” loud enough for her to hear.
“Did you come to my f*cking show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f*cking stupid?” she said, pointing to the person in the crowd who made the brash comment.
“Don’t be so f*cking ridiculous,” she continued, as the Colosseum at Caesars Palace filled with applause at her comments. “If you’ve got nothing nice to say, shut up. All right?”

Adele has been a longtime ally of the LGBTQ+ community. In 2016, following the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer used time from her concert at Antwerp’s Sportpaleis and dedicated her entire show to the victims of the fatal incident that left 50 dead and 53 injured.
“I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando at Pulse nightclub,” she told the crowd the concert. “The LGBTQIA community, they’re like my soul mates since I was really young, so I’m really moved by it.”
In the years since, Adele has allowed men to propose to their boyfriends on stage during her concerts, partied at a gay bar with Jennifer Lawrence in New York City, and even became an ordained minister so she could marry British comedian Alan Carr and his husband, Paul Drayton.
