Angelina Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne, were out on the town last night—and the mother-daughter pair could not have looked much cuter.

The pair attended the opening night of Reefer Madness: The Musical at The Whitley in Los Angeles, where they posed for photos together and with actress Kristen Bell.

The duo, whose masculine chic outfits were perfectly co-ordinated, looked effortlessly cool at the event. Angelina Wore a black blazer over a white t-shirt with the image of a gray striped tie printed on the chest. She wore her hair down in a (Millennial) side part and wore a pair of oversized black sunglasses. Vivienne put on an equally chic display, wearing a navy vest over a pale blue button down shirt.

In their co-ordinated outfits, the mother-daughter pair were the perfect picture of theatrical producers out on the town—and after all, that’s exactly what they are!

Last year, Angelina worked with her daughter onThe Outsiders musical on Broadway. After Vivienne joined the production as a volunteer assistant, Angelina came on board as a producer.

As Angelina later explained on the Today show, Vivienne had actually been the one who inspired her to take on the project. “[The musical] is about family,” Jolie said. “And the same reason it responded to her and the same reason she wanted me next to her watching it and the same reason we all hugged when I came out here is because this is about family.”

In another interview with People, Angelina gushed, “Viv reminds me of my mother, in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention, but in being a support to other creatives. She’s very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.”

In April, the pair made a joint appearance on the red carpet at the opening of The Outsiders—once again, Vivienne made the case for understated red carpet looks, opting for a simple blue jumpsuit.

Angelina and Vivienne’s latest outing comes after fans noticed that Vivienne has appeared to drop “Pitt” from her name—in the playbill of The Outsiders, she is listed as simply “Vivienne Jolie” rather than “Vivienne Jolie-Pitt”.
