Paris Hilton is officially back in her pop princess era. The star announced yesterday that her second album, entitled Infinite Icon, is due to drop on September 6, with the first single expected to land sometime in June. This will be Hilton’s first album since her debut in 2006, Paris, which, of course, featured the iconic bop “Stars Are Blind.”

Hilton made the announcement on Instagram in a series of photos that teased the pink Gothic logo of the album. A day earlier, she had posted a video on Instagram teasing that the announcement would come at 11:11. The video featured an all-star cast that included the likes of Kris Jenner, Benny Blanco, Lukas Gage, Ashley Benson, Demi Lovato, Paula Abdul, and sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning all asking, “What’s the big secret, Paris?”

Paris Hilton Opened Up About the “Difficult” Decision to Use a Surrogate
Although Infinite Icon marks Hilton’s first studio album since 2006, she has released a number of singles over the last few decades, including “Hot One,” released last year, and this year’s “Fame Won’t Love You,” a collaboration with Sia. Last year, she also took a page out of Taylor Swift’s book, releasing “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version),” a collaboration with Kim Petras. And that’s not all—she’s also been busy working as a DJ, turning her memoir into a miniseries and starting her family via surrogacy, welcoming her son, Phoenix, and her daughter, London, in 2023.

Hilton had previously revealed the news that a second album produced by Sia was in the works during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last October, telling Fallon, “Yeah, I’m recording the new album right now.”

She later spoke to Flaunt about the project. “The album has it all,” she teased. “I love pop music so much and it feels like someone needs to save it so I’m here to do it.” She went on to promise the album would feature everything from “pop bops” to ballads inspired by her memoir, Paris: The Memoir.
Two decades may have passed since Hilton’s last album, but based on this announcement, it seems she has every intention of solidifying her place in musical history as an “infinite icon.”
