Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have taken their signature punk-rock aesthetic to a whole new level. In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian revealed an interesting habit that she and husband Barker have.

In a scene during the May 30 episode, Khloé visited Kourtney, who at the time, was in her third trimester and on bedrest due to pregnancy complications. Khloé started helping Kourtney gather things to go into her hospital bag for the arrival of the couple’s son, Rocky, who was born on Nov. 1. After Khloé surveyed the objects on the table, Kourtney asked her sister, “Did you see my blood vial in there?” 

Khloé responded, “What? No,” before getting back up to look at the items again. “Gotta see the blood,” she said before questioning her sister’s choice to carry around a tube of blood. “It’s a real thing of blood?” she asked. “What was the point?”

Kourtney went on to explain that it’s something she and Barker like to do “just to, like, have each other’s.”

Then in a confessional, Khloé spoke about the couple’s blood exchange, saying it’s not for her but more power to them. She also compared them to Billy Bob Thorton, who famously wore a necklace containing Angelina Jolie’s blood and vice versa.

“To want to show off your blood vials is also like, alright, if that’s what you’re into,” she said. “But it’s very, like, Billy Bob Thornton of them. In my every minute of the day, do I want to be like, harnessing a tube of blood? Not for me.”

“But that’s what makes the world go round,” she added. “We’re all different.”

Back in the scene, Khloé told Kourtney to “rock on with your bad self” with a playful eye roll.

Back in 2021, Kourtney reposted a photo of Barker’s that showed a tube of his blood with his name and birth date on it. Who’s to say if it’s the same vial (does blood get stale?), but she simply showed her, er, appreciation for his blood with a black heart emoji.
